Soul mate (poem 5)

You're not with me
yet i can strongly feel your presence,
A delicate 'dream'
Born of the guileless sleep at dawn,
A secret 'dialogue' from solitude,
Fragrant 'soul' of my writes,
The vibrant filament of my life,
Still you need to ask,
What 'you' mean to me?

तुम साथ तो नहीं
पर शिद्दत से महसूस किया 'अहसास' हो,
अलसुबह् की मासूम नींद से जन्मा
नाज़ुक सा 'ख़्वाब' हो,
अक़्सर तन्हाइयों में
की गयी गुपचुप 'बात' हो
मेरे अल्फ़ाज़ की
महकती हुई 'रूह' हो,
मेरी ज़िन्दगी की धड़कती नब्ज़ हो
अब भी पूछोगे क्या..
'तुम' मेरे क्या हो?
