Soul mate (poem 4)

कोष्ठक [  ] में दी गयी पंक्तियाँ प्रसिद्ध अंग्रेज़ी कवि E.E.Cummings की कविता से हैं जिनका अनुवाद अपनी समझ से करने का छोटा सा प्रयास भर है, त्रुटियों के लिए क्षमा सहित

[ i carry your heart with me
(i carry it in my heart)
i am never without it
(anywhere i go you go, my dear;
and whatever is done by only me
is your doing, my darling)
i fear no fate
(for you are my fate, my sweet)
i want no world
(for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you ]

While i read them,
Was it your voice
I heard echoed,
reciting these beautiful lines
For me ?
And then i read them
over and over again,
Just to feel the magic of 
that enchanting voice
Melt in my nerves
To the very end...
I felt as if 'the poet'* wrote it
just for 'you'
To recite them for 'me'
Yes just for me...

मैंने जब पढ़ा इन्हें
क्या ये तुम्हारी ही आवाज थी ?
मैंने सुनी इसकी प्रतिध्वनियाँ,
जो गा रही थी यही सुन्दर पंक्तियाँ
क्या मेरे लिए?
तब मैंने इन्हें पढ़ा
कई बार और बार बार
केवल महसूस करने के लिए जादुई एहसास
उस मदहोश करने वाली आवाज का
जो पिघल गया मेरी नस नस के
अंतिम सिरे तक
मैंने महसूस किया जैसे शायद कवि  ने लिखा है
केवल तुम्हारे लिए
कि तुम उन्हें सस्वर गाओ मेरे लिए
हाँ केवल और केवल मेरे लिए ...
