Chap 32 Friends reunion part 1

Ghazal and Arun received a warm welcome from Mihir and his family. Though a little self-conscious in the beginning, Arun soon got himself engaged with Mihir's three kids…two pretty girls of 11 and 9, Mihika and Meha respectively and a sweet little baby boy of 3 years, Anshul. He had a way with kids as she had seen him with their own daughter Vrinda. The foursome was busy chatting away with him, their faces coming alive with laughter. Ghazal hugged Mihir's wife Mishti, a wonderful person who had filled the vacuum in Mihir's life, while he was away from his family and friends. Even though they had not known each other much as Mihir had shifted to USA just after his wedding, yet they had gone on to become good friends through letters they had shared earlier and then communicating through video chats.

Suddenly a whistle caught hold of everyone's attention at the party. It was Rahul, a well-known face in the world of advertisement, owner of a well-placed ad agency. Suhani, his better-half followed him, with a shy little boy tagging behind her. Their love-cum-arranged marriage had been a pleasant surprise for everyone including all friends, who didn't have any inkling whatsoever of their relationship before the day, Suhani had proposed to Rahul, just after the launch of his first independent ad. She herself had a jewellery brand under her name and was well-settled in Mumbai. Being in the same city and away from family and friends, had brought them closer and given them a chance to know each other well. Their little boy, Chinmay was a cute kid in his 6^th year. Rahul rushed towards Mihir and Ghazal hugging them both one by one, followed by Suhani. They were tailor-made for each other, a lovely couple, a wonder nobody thought of their being paired together, until they decided to do it themselves.
