Behti nadiyaa si zindagi par
Rishto ke kitne baandh banaaye.
Chanchal pawan si behti hai wo
Kab kaun usey rok paaye.
Tapish mein dhoop ki to
Saagar bhi sookh jaaye.
Mohabbat ki thandi chaav bhi
Na fir sukoon de paaye.
Wafaa ki umeed rakhe hai uss se VINi
Jo pal mein bewafaa ho jaaye.
(We construct dams of relations on life which is like a flowing river. But who can stop it when it is a constant flowing wind. Even oceans dry in the scorching heat of the sun. Then even cool shade of love provides no respite. We have hopes of faithfulness from the one which deserts us in the brush of a second.)
