Chap 21 Made For Each Other

A Week Later
Ghazal’s house looked like a flurry of activities, with everyone else except Ghazal, running here and there . All her friends were there making the required arrangements for the very important occasion. Ghazal looked beautiful in a pink saree, with mehandi on both her hands, her long hair left open, her face glowing without a trace of make-up on it. She rarely used make-up, except a touch of lip-gloss and a small bindi.
It was more like a family get-together, with Ghazal’s family and friends from her side and Vaibhav’s family and two of his college friends from his side. Vaibhav And Ghazal exchanged rings, with the shouts of congratulations rising up . Vaibhav too, looked stunning in a formal suit, and two of them looked MADE FOR EACH OTHER.
Akshit then came with Vaibhav’s guitar and everyone cheered, with Vaibhav’s voice floating in the air with the number, that was both his and Ghazal’s favorite. All others were lost in his voice but Vaibhav looked deep into her eyes as if promising all his love for this life and many more lives to come. Two hearts were tied into one single knot that day. Ghazal’s face radiated the happiness ,she felt in her heart. Her best friend was going to become her partner for life.
Then it was time for dinner and everyone got busy, some in serving and others in eating. At last ,the time came for which Vaibhav had been waiting for , he looked deep into her eyes and taking her hand in his, whispered those three magical words, he had been dying to say forever.
                            I LOVE YOU Red heart
He was glad to see her blushing and knew she returned his feelings, but he wanted her to say it herself. Ghazal was about to say something when their friends came to take them for dinner. Ghazal’s eyes expressed her unspoken love all too clearly and Vaibhav smiled and nodded, as if telling her, they had the entire life to share their love for each other. Red heart
