Chap 16 Love Is In The Air
As the days passed Ghazal and Vaibhav came closer, so much so that not a day passed when they didn’t meet. With his studies and work taking most of his time, Vaibhav still took out time to meet her at least once in a day. On rainy days, they went on a ride enjoying the rain as well as each others' company, as he had less work at his office then. Soon it was exams time and both of them got busy with their studies. It was during this time they both realized how much they missed each other, for the entire group had decided not to meet during exams, including both of them. Vaibhav’s exams got over first and he missed her a lot, but controlled himself so as not to disturb her.
On the day when she had her last paper, he went to pick her up after her exam, but saw her talking to Mihir, who had also come to pick her up. Mihir , noticing Vaibhav , decided to leave them alone and telling Ghazal he had some work to do, asked him to drop her home. Vaibhav and Mihir exchanged glances and Vaibhav silently thanked him with a nod. They had met after a month and had so much to share with each other, along with their favorite chocolate and cold coffee. Vaibhav asked her if she would like to see a movie, just two of them. Ghazal agreed and they decided to go for a movie the coming weekend, the only problem being, taking her grand-parents permission. Vaibhav knew there was only one person who could help them, and that was Mihir, for he was the only one whom her grand pa trusted.
When he asked Mihir to help them, Mihir took this opportunity to ask him, whether he was serious about Ghazal. Vaibhav’s answer being positive, he decided to help them, but taking a promise from him to take good care of his friend and never hurt her. The next day, Mihir on the pretext of taking her for shopping, dropped her at the theater, where Vaibhav was already waiting. Both of them waved at Mihir and went inside, who silently stood watching the pair go. They looked perfect with each other. He had grown fond of Vaibhav too and trusted him to take good care of his best friend. He knew Vaibhav loved her a lot, what he was not sure was whether Ghazal had the same feeling towards him. He decided to find out in his own way.
