Happiness
She pops up from the pages of a book,
With that enchanting smile of hers.
Sings with a romantic melody of yester years,
Perches on the delicate wings of a butterfly passing by,
Dances with the fragrant raindrops nourishing the parched earth,
Blooms with the first flower of the season,
Shines through the shimmering moisture in the eyes at the reunion of old friends,
Lights up with the flickering light of a candle on a dinner date.....
How can one miss her presence?
When she is omnipresent,
Right from a mother's tender touch
To a passionate welcome hug.
A penny for you to guess !
She's no one else
But sweet and beloved "Happiness".
