Tanha se the hum

mausam bhi the kuch udaas.

Yaado ke gehre the bhanwar

par thame se the ehsaas.

 

Dhadakta tha dil, par ravaani na thi

Kisi ko sunaaye, aisi kahaani na thi.

Ghutan si thi saanso mei jaise,

Aur khushiya bhi lagne lagi bemaani thi.

 

Raat ke andhere jab gahraaye

tum chanda ban kar aaye.

Khushiyo ne pankh failaaye

Chhatne lage gum ke saaye.

 

Aankho ki nami bhi sukoon deti hai ab

Dhadkano mei pyar ka sangeet hai ab

Gulzar hai dil ka har kauna,

Saanso mei preet ki khushboo hai ab.

 

Aarzoo hai dil ki yahi VINi

har jeevan ka saathi ho wahi.

Aaj wo khwaab hi sahi,

Par is khwaab ki taabeer ho bas wahi.

Chap 28 HIS RETURN…..

For the next two weeks, both Ghazal and Vaibhav were busy..Vaibhav with his clients and formalities of the deal being finali z ed..Ghazal with shopping and other arrangements for wedding. Soon it was time for Vaibhav to return..      Both their families were happy and Vaibhav’s family decided to throw a surprise welcome party to celebrate his success and return. Vaibhav called her on the day before his arrival and asked her if she wanted anything from London, and her reply pleased him a lot        “ Yup please request London and the people there, to return my shonu………”   With a smile on his face, he said, “Sure he ‘ll soon be with you… cyaa sweetu”       On the day of his arrival, Ghazal was at his (soon to be hers too) home, helping his family in the arrangements of his welcome party.
