Chap 18 My Heart Beats For You !!

It was a beautiful Sunday morningSun, Ghazal opened her eyes to a beautiful sky filled with so many beautiful colors just like her own lifeRainbow. She had never been so happy. As she turned her head, pink color caught her eye. It was an envelope again. She smiled, knowing well, where it came from. She opened it to find another sketch Smileof her own sleeping. OMG !! it had been drawn that very morning by Vaibhav, while she had been sleeping in all her innocence and beauty. Written underneath were the most beautiful words, she had ever read or heard :
Can I have the pleasure of watching you just like this each n every morning for the rest of my life. Red heart

On the other side of her pillow was another surprise for her: A CUTE LITTLE TEDDY IN PINK N WHITE COLOUR with a red heart on it and as she touched the heart, there was a sound, a HEART beating and then a voice, well known to her, said, “ my heart beats for you. With every beat it says, it longs for you. There’s so much it wants to say but there aren’t enough words to express what it  feels for you. It can only say, “I can’t live without you.” Plz be mine for ever n ever n ever………”
     Ghazal’s own heart beats had risen to a frenzy, by the time Vaibhav’s voice floated in the room. Her mind had just gone numb, and she was melting deep down inside with feelings alien to her. Had she fallen in love? or was it just a fleeting desire? She was not sure yet, but whatever it was, it was a beautiful sensation. StarStar

Each passing day was strengthening their relationship n bringing them closer. Ghazal and Vaibhav shared a chemistry which could be a reason for anyone’s envy. With the marriage date fast approaching, preparations had begun in both the families.        One fine morning when Ghazal was making a list of items to be purchased, Vaibhav called asking her to meet him at their favorite ice-cream parlor. Ghazal agreed to meet him there in fifteen minutes, sensing his discomfort, but not asking anything. At the parlor, Vaibhav was already there and met her at the entrance and taking their ice creams sat down in one corner. “Is something wrong Shona ? After a troubled sleep at night, Ghazal woke up with the alarm clock buzzing. She had a terrible headache, then she remembered Samar… She prayed silently hoping everything was all right. Hastily she finished her daily chores , got herself and Vrinda ready and just before leaving for school, she logged in on fb. Her eyes filled up with tears, blurring her vision for a while. Her inbox had a message from Samar: GOOD MORNING kUCHI !! SORRY COULDN’T MESSAGE YESTERDAY DUE TO NETWORK PROBLEM…..MISSED YOU HAVE A NICE SMILING DAY Her face lit up with a smile, and taking a sigh of relief, she quickly typed a message : GOOD GOOD MORNING CHIKU…. THANK GOD  !! WAS SO WORRIED.. LEAVING FOR SCHOOL… SEE YOU IN THE AFTERNOON …MISSED YOU TOO AND A LOT…… That evening their friendship took a new turn , a new level of trust, when they exchanged their cell numbers.
